With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cleston Monroe Phillips of Woolwine, Virginia, born in Willis, Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mason Phillips and Ivah Mae Quesenberry Phillips; his wife Brenda Joyce Belcher Phillips; his brothers, Wakley Freddie Phillips and Roger "Haney" Phillips; his parents-in-law, Archie Owen Belcher and Lorna Evelyn Belcher; his niece Rebecca G. Conner; and his siblings-in-law, Edward Corneilus Soyars and Carolyn Belcher Stowe.
He is survived by: his son Brian Cleston Phillips (Jessica) of Woolwine; his nieces and nephews, Jimmy Wakley Phillips of Meadows, Ronnie Harbour (Linda) of Woolwine, Joseph Howard Goins of Raleigh, Christina Phillips Hess of Florida and Melissa Ann Goins Penn of Ararat; his siblings-in-law, Fern Belcher Soyars of Stuart, Linda Kay Scott Phillips of Claudville, Shirley Ann Young Phillips of Claudville and Ronald Stowe of Woolwine; and his caregiver Barbara Wood of Woolwine.
