He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jenkins Handy; his daughters, Jean Handy and Carol H. DeHerrera; his cousin Howard Handy; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Ritchie, Linda Moon, Louisa Anderson, Robert and Warren Wilcox.
