She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Longley Lefler and Anna Montrose Loan Lefler; her husband James "Jay" Carter Carnes; and her brother Frankie W. Lefler. She is survived by: her brother Stephen A. Lefler (June). She is also survived by niece and nephew.
