She was predeceased by: her son Del Russell Rush; and her grandchildren, Kristen Rush and Raymond Barlow. She is survived by: her children, Corbyn Rush (Carrie) of Woodstock, Ezra Baughman Jr. (Carla) of Monticello, Kentucky, Sabrina Schneibel (Dexter) of Woodstock, Tamar (Dennis Smith) of Limestone, Sara Rush-Schenck (James) of Jamestown and Christina Sherrill (Michael) of Richmond, Virginia.; and her siblings, Dale Vance of Toms Brook, Tracey Vance of Toms Brook, Stacey Vance of Woodstock, Barbara Dellinger (Dave) of Mount Jackson, Darlene Berndt (Marty) of Woodstock, Donna Vance of Woodstock and Debra Morris (Kris) of Middletown, Virginia.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Meningitis Foundation of America, a cause very dear to Sherry's heart.
