It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Rowles of Woodstock, Virginia, born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 25, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Samuel Rowles Sr. and Della Mae Schoening Rowles. He is survived by: his wife Melissa McClelland Rowles; his children, Mary Elizabeth Stephens (Jonathan) and Samuel Kinter Rowles Sr. (Megan); his brother Fred Samuel Rowles Jr. (Toni); and his grandchildren, Lillian Sue Rowles, Emma Grace Stephens, Samuel Kinter Rowles Jr. and Jonathan Andrew Stephens Jr..
