It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Marie Fadley Fortner (Woodstock, Virginia), born in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Wilfred Fadley and Marjorie "Margie" Ann Pool Fadley. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia "Kyrah" Witherall Seals of Wisconsin; and her sisters, Betty Shabazz of Washington, DC., Lynn Walker of Middletown and Tammy Diggs of Middletown. She is also survived by two grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 21, at 2:00 p. m. at Mt. Jackson Cemetery following Covid protocols.
