He is survived by: his wife Valeria McHale (Skluzacek); his children, Robert McHale (Carol) of Brookeville, MD, Matthew McHale (Jennifer) of Haymarket, VA, Gretchen McHale of Woodstock, VA and Marilyn Mullan of Rockville, MD; and his sisters, Mary Mulligan and Catherine Bommer. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
