He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Sedwick Sr. and Melvina Krug Sedwick; his former wife Lucille Sedwick; his brothers, Robert Sedwick Jr., Lester N. Sedwick, Thomas Sedwick, Aubrey Sedwick and George "Freddie" Sedwick; and also Sharleen Schlaak.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Riffee Whittington Sedwick; his godchildren, Ashley Litten, Kaylee Estep and Calvin Schlaak; his stepchildren, John Whittington (Amy) of Woodstock and Dawn Gilmore (Rob) of Edinburg; his stepgrandchildren, Derek Gilmore, Abigail Gilmore, Olivia Whittington and Josh Whittington; and his nephew Larry Hull. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
