He was predeceased by: his parents, Nevin Ford Rau and Beulah Boyce Rau; his wife Berkley Irene Frye Rau; and his siblings, Regena Miller, Anna Mae Walker and Marvin Rau.
He is survived by: his brothers, Riley Rau (Carole) of Woodstock and Ronnie Rau (Rhonda) of Edinburg; and his children, Tina Rau of Woodstock and Douglas Rau (Deana) of Jerome. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
