He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Racey and Doris Hammit Racey; his wife Rosemary Campbell Racey; his daughter Lori Racey; and his siblings, Jean Racey, Lynette Allen and Alfred Racey Jr..
He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Gonzalez (Frank) of Sterling, VA; his grandson Mateo Gonzalez; his daughter Jennifer Stephens of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Morgan Stephens and Jaxson Stephens; his daughter Jill Mantz (Jake) of Lynchburg, VA; his granddaughters, Molly and Whitney Mantz; and his siblings, Jan Racey (Dot) of Colorado, Jeff Racey (Jane) of Fishers Hill and Laura Fogle (Randy) of Fort Valley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
