She was predeceased by: her parents, Troylous Franklin and Carrie Lee Johnson of Virginia; and her grandson Matthew C. Grimes. She is survived by: her children, Guy A. Grimes Jr. (Christina) of Scottsville, Terry B. Grimes (Karen) of Fort Valley Virginia and Lisa M. Grimes of Utica; her grandchildren, Megan E. Syverson (Brian) of Columbus and Ashley A. Ferlin (Curtis) of Havelock; and her friends, Betty Britt of Virginia Beach and Jane King of Fort Valley, Virginia.. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers Norma requested that donations be made to the Fort Valley Volunteer Fire Department.
