It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Garnet Waybright of Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Garnet Waybright and Lucy Jane Hedrick Waybright; his sisters, Mary Wagner and Edith Fleisher; and his half-brother Robert Simmons Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Irene Lorden Waybright of Virginia; his children, James Garnet Waybright (Becky) of Woodstock, VA, Joy Lynn Waybright (John Reynolds) of Edinburg, VA and John Paul Waybright (Mandy) of Woodstock; his sister Nellie Fleisher; and his grandchildren, Hailey A. Waybright and Gunner Waybright.
