With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lee Messerley Eastep of Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on March 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Garland Messerley and Geraldine Weaver Messerley; and her brother William A. "Bill" Messerley. She is survived by: her husband Wilson Gearing Eastep; her daughters, Karen Eastep of Woodstock and Teresa Markowitz (Danny Pecoraro) of Lake Worth, FL; her brothers, James G. Messerley Jr. of Harrisonburg, VA and Virgil E. Messerley of Harrisonburg, VA; her grandchildren, Ayden Markowitz and Kellan Markowitz; her nephew Andy Eastep (Barbara Kennedy); her niece Lori Messerley Trail; and her great-nephew Jay Ross.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in honor of Linda, may be made to a local Fire and Rescue or Hospice service in your area.
