He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin George and Mamie Smoot George; his wife Beatrice "Bea" Ritter George; and his siblings, Evelyn Burner, Alger George, John George, Clifford George and Freddie George.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Wilkins (Gary) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Valerie Patton (Josh) of Woodstock and Eric Wilkins (Randi) of Edinburg; his great grandchildren, Lilyan Patton, Amelia Patton, Lincoln Patton, Haley Wilkins and Blake Wilkins; and his brother Ralph George (Doris Ann) of Edinburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
