He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Epard and Vera Boyd Epard; and his daughter Jeannie Partlowe-Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Nina; his daughter Cindy Epard; his granddaughters, Nina and Olivia Partlowe; and his siblings, Elihu, Tyrone Epard, Belinda Estep and Sabrina Epard.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Legion, ADF, DAV, VFW, or the Wounded Warriors Project.
