He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hillard Helsley and Bethel "Peggy" O'Furr Ritter Helsley; and his brother Michael Allen Helsley. He is survived by: his wife Emmelyn Gochenour Helsley; his daughter Cyrene Helsley Ryan (Bobby) of Woodstock; his granddaughters, Kelsey Ryan Williams (Mike) of Maurertown and Mackenzie Brooke Ryan of Woodstock; and his siblings, Robert Junior Helsley (Vivian) of Springfield, WV, Doris "Ginny" Kirby of Virginia and Margaret Ann Clem of Stephens City.
