He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl Beatty and Mildred Mahaney Beatty; his brother William Carl Beatty, Jr. (Bill); his nephew Todd Beatty; and his niece Kimberly Marquis.
He is survived by: his brothers, Gary L. Beatty of Harrisonburg, VA and Larry D. Beatty (Barbara Beatty) of Fairfax; his sister-in-law Kay Pugh Beatty of Hagerstown, Maryland.; his nephews, Sean Beatty of Seattle, Brock Beatty of Richmond, VA. and Travis Beatty of Wilmington, NC.; and his niece LeeAnne Smith of Harrisonburg, VA..
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to be made to the Woodstock Rescue Squad for transporting Don to the hospital many times.
