He was predeceased by: his father Elliott Richman; and his brother Steve Richman. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Painter Richman; his wife Louise; his stepdaughter Rebecca Miller; and his brothers, Mike and Phillip Richman. He is also survived by 3 nieces; a nephew and, 3 great nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Shenandoah County Animal Shelter.
