He was predeceased by: his parents, Cooper Bowers and Louise Bowers of Woodstock, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Judy Strosnider Bowers; his son Dane Bowers (Atlanta); his siblings, Roger Bowers (Carol), Jerry Bowers (Brenda), Dennis Bowers (Pam) and Nancy Burner; and also Kim Didawick (Stuart). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends.
