She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry "Hank" Dapper and Rita A. Gringere; her husband Anthony "Tony" John; her son Christopher Michael John; her son-in-law Lewis Lindner; and her brother Joseph "Joe" Dapper.
She is survived by: her children, Rita Lindner, Carla Reynard, Donna Baumgartner (Jeff), Tony John (April) and Linda John; and her siblings, Gene Dapper, Henry Dapper and Tina Sayti. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
During COVID, Cathy made and gifted hundreds of masks to family, friends and strangers.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Shenandoah Community Health Clinic in her memory at 124 Valley Vista Drive, Woodstock, VA 22664.
