He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Zelmer and Cora Frost Linville; and his brother Calvin Ernest Linville. He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Ray Linville of Galax, Virginia, Barbara (Vance Lineberry) of Galax, Virginia, Linda (J. C. Jones) of Galax, Virginia, Esther Carrico (Ronnie Hodges) of Galax, Virginia, Betty Beasley of Galax, Virginia, Norma (Michael Brown) and Kathy Thomas (Stacy Dalton). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
