He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransome Ranger and Lossie Lorena Melton Harmon; his daughter Donna Carol Harmon; and his siblings, Ethel Hawks, Odessa Peters, Leroy Harmon and Otis Harmon.
He is survived by: his wife Loree Robinson Harmon; his children, Debra Harmon Dabbs of Woodlawn and Doug Harmon (Mary Ann) of Winston Salem; his grandchildren, Darien Dabbs of Woodlawn, Matthew Harmon of Winston Salem and Nathan Harmon of Alabama; and his siblings, Betty Sue Alley of Woodlawn and Wayne Harmon of Woodlawn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
