He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Herbert and Eresha Burton Conner. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Jones Conner of Woodlawn, Virginia; his children, Tammy Jones of Blacksburg, Virginia and Sidney Allen Conner, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Beth of Woodlawn, Virginia; his siblings, Patsy (Steve Rogers), Ivalene (John Waldren), Donna Walker of Durham and James "Buddy" Conner of Rich Creek, Virginia; and his pet Buffy. He is also survived by four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
