She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby Curtis and Belzora Burcham Williams; her husband Quinton C. Turner; her daughter Carol Sloan; the father of her children Gray Turner; and her brothers, Glenn Williams, Perry Williams and Jimmy Williams.
She is survived by: her son Donnie Turner (Janie); her granddaughter Sandra Prewitt Wright (Heath); her great grandchild Ryan Prewitt of Hillsville; and her sisters, Dee Moore of Roanoke, Faye Welsh of Galax and Edna Hanks (Nelson). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel (201 W Center St, Galax, VA 24333).
