She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer Sumner Sr.. She is survived by: her children-in-law, Linda Sharp, Everett Sharp of Woodlawn, Rita Sharp, Darrell Sharp of Galax and Wanda Sumner of Galax; and also, Etta Manning, Phillip Manning of Vinton, Vera Horton of Austinville, Jean Porter of Galax, Duane Porter and Nancy Porter of Oklahoma. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
