He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Jennings and Mae Leonard Jennings; his wife Jewel Merlene Ring Jennings; and his grandson Bobby Joe Hill. He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy (Sanford Dalton), Jeana Jennings of Thomasville and Mylinda (Brian Edwards); his brother Robert; his sister-in-law Stella Jennings; and his grandchildren, Shon Carico of Fries, Virginia, Ronnie (Jodie Price) and Sasha (Ricky Bobbitt) of Hillsville, Virginia. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
