He was predeceased by: his father Orby Kyress; his wife Norma Sue Alderman; and his siblings, Velma Nester, Carlos Alderman and Gaylean Alderman.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Alderman and Lynn Alderman; his grandchildren, Logan Alderman, Megan Morton and Derek Alexander; and his sisters, Wanda Mullins and Guida Nester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
