He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Surratt and Kate Taylor Surratt; and his siblings, Wesley Surratt, Shirley Surratt, Edna McCraw and Peggy Hawks.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his daughter Amanda; his son-in-law Phillip Lundy; his grandchildren, Makenzie Lundy and Macie Lundy; his siblings, Kelly Surratt, Jo, Tony Hall, Curtis and Gypsy Haynes; and his pets, Belle and Gracie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
