He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Fredrick Sheets and Shirley Blevins Radicchi. He is survived by: his brother James Joseph Jeffries, Jr.; his granddaughter Kathleen Sheets; his mother-in-law Helen Summerlin; his wife Regina Kay Sheets; his sons, Gerald, Jr. (Mikki Sheets), Jeffery (Dianna Sheets), Kenneth (Brandie Sheets) and Christopher (Melissa Sheets); and his siblings, Kenneth (Barbara Sheets), Ruth Harper of Manassas, VA, Joan Tangen Flury of Luray, VA, Judy Sheets of Manassas and Diane Brooks of Luisa, VA. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
