With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva Maxine Houk of Woodlawn, Virginia, who passed away on May 9, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Geneva Maxine farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Geneva Maxine is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Eugene and Lola Cox Hines. She is survived by: her son Robert Hines of Woodlawn, Virginia; her brother Ronald Hines of Galax, Virginia; and her pets, Andreas and Takoda. She is also survived by one niece; three nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
