He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Jones Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Frost Jones of Woodlawn, Virginia; his children, Deborah Jones Thompson of Florida, Karen Jones Campbell (C. L.), Phyllis Diane Jones Ayers (Don), Charles Michael Jones (Julia), David Wayne Jones of Rocky Mount, Virginia, Joseph William Jones of Galax, Virginia, James Jeffery Jones of North Carolina and Jonathan Jones (Jennifer); his sister Christine Jones Larrowe; his brother-in-law Carroll of Woodlawn, Virginia; his grandchildren, Bethany Campbell, Lauren Campbell, Addie Campbell, Lakyn Thompson, Joseph Jones, Grayson Jones, Sarah Chamberlan, Bryan Jones, Jillian Jones, Candace Ayers, Nathan Jones and Emily Jones; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Sally, William, Wyatt and Lillian. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; several special cousins.
