She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Bellwood and Calvin Whaley (Thomas Wynne); her daughter Wanda Kay Turner; and her brother Leo "Sam" Whaley. She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Brandt; her sister Debi Dudley; and her grandsons, Christopher Brandt (Dee) of Virginia Beach, Daniel Tuner (Crystal) of Tallahassee and Timothy Turner of Albany.
