Dorothy Louise Delia Obituary
Dorothy L. Delia, 96 of Norfolk, Virginia the matriarch of the Delia family passed away into eternal life on January 9, 2021. Dorothy “Dot” was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. As a devote Anglican, she always felt that the Lord was with her.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John Delia Sr.; son, William “Bill” Delia; grandson Michael Delia, and sister Ruth Johnson. Left to cherish her memory are her children, John Delia Jr., Dr. Ruth Parker, and Linda Delia; grandchildren Steven Delia, Timothy Michael Parker, Katherine Parker, and Eric Scott Delia; and great grand children Emily, Casey, Elise, and Genevieve Delia.
Because of Covid-19, a day of remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the Norfolk S.P.C.A. The family would like to thank Providence Place at DePaul for their excellent care.
