He was predeceased by: his brother John William Dickens. He is survived by: his sibling-in-law Toni Beamer of Woodlawn; and his grandchildren, Donna Reece of Hillsville, Wanda Jones of Cana and David Porter of Roanoke. He is also survived by one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
