He is survived by: his wife Barbara Burnett Alderman; his daughter Sherry Hines of Woodlawn, Virginia; his siblings, Bonnie Hanks of La Plata, Maryland, Delphia Frazier of Woodlawn, Virginia and Elwood; and his sister-in-law Shirley Alderman of Woodlawn, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
