With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Virginia Dare Henley of Woodford, Virginia, born in Fredericksburg, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Virginia Dare may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia Dare touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Jones and Virginia Jones; and her son David Henley. She is survived by: her husband Samuel Henley; her son Paul Henley of Honolulu, Hawaii; and her grandchildren, Krista and Luke.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Virginia's name to the Redeemer Lutheran Church Food Pantry.
