It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Trudell Lucas (Woodford, Virginia), who passed away on January 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeanette Turner Green and George David Walker; her husband Larry Lucas; her siblings, Elwood "Mendy" Green, Kevin "Keboe" Green, George "Picky" Green and Beverly "Cookie" Green; her great grandchild Anaya Green; and her nephews, Ronald "Mann" Green Jr., Delano Green and Keith Green.
She is survived by: her children, Corey Green (LaDonna) and Crystal Bumbrey (Derron); her stepdaughters, Melody Harper (Henry) and Thelma Jackson (Nat); her grandsons, Corey Green, Marquis White, Tre'von Brown and Anthony Green; her siblings, Audrey Daniel (Theodore), Sheryl Hardy, Ronald Green (Gail), Alvin Green (Sherrie), William Green, Lynn Green and Scott Green (Kim); her sisters-in-law, Minister Gladys Whitener (Ronnie) and Elmira Johnson; and her aunts, Lottie Armstead and Emma Woolfolk (Eddie). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren; twenty three nieces and nephews; several great nieces, great nephews, cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (7187 Macedonia Rd, Woodford, VA 22580). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery (7187 Macedonia Rd, Woodford, VA 22580).
