He was predeceased by: his mother Kathryn Reynolds Grinde; his daughter Stephanie Burke; his brother Wayne Grinde; and his former wife Carolyn Grinde. He is survived by: his wife Cathy M. Grinde; his son Stephen D. Grinde; his stepchildren, Cameron Quick and Ryan Devers; his siblings, Jimmy Grinde, Anne Sylvester, Gary Grinde and Dan Grinde; and his father James Warren Grinde. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
