It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanie VanDevender of Woodford, Virginia, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 22, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence George; her former husband Mark VanDevender; and her sister-in-law Hiroko George. She is survived by: her daughter Chalie VanDevender; her brothers, Scott George, Michael George (Tamara), Eric George and Tracy George (Angela); her nieces and nephews, Devin, Danielle, Brandon (Stephanie), Emily (Hunter), Erica, Patrick (Maddie), Aulin, Ethan, Madison, Joshua (Zoe), Sara, Natsuko, Lauren, Taylor and Victoria; and her husband Dave Alsop.
