It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Delores Johnson (Woodford, Virginia), who passed away on July 15, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Foxx and Pearl Ruth Foxx (Smith); her husband Clyde F. Johnson, Jr. of Bowling Green, Virginia.; her daughter Belinda McCardell; and her siblings, Roy, James, Moses, Melvin, Clarence, Robert, Willie, Richard Foxx, Julia Hudson, Beatrice Gray, Pearl Fenwick, Dorothy Matthews, Alice Baylor and Ethel Foxx.
She is survived by: her daughters, Bridgette Young (James Antoine) and Carla Johnson; her grandchildren, Quiana Frye (Thomas), Shari Johnson (Jennifer), Kaleysa Johnson (Kassell), Brittany Moffett, Davin Johnson, Eugene McCardell (Alex) and Alayah Johnson; her great grandchildren, Thomas Frye, Jr., Keyon Frye, Sikoya Johnson, Samir Johnson and Xylan Johnson; her siblings, Ruth Deyo, Cachita Myers (James) and Alfred Foxx; her sisters-in-law, Alice Hudson and Barbara Garnett (Raymond); her goddaughters, Breta Myers and A'aliyah Abrams; her niece Ruth Edwards (Nathan); and her close friends, Irene Young, Barbara Parker (Odell), Adell and Janice Southerland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
She loved her church dearly and fully supported it during the COVID -19 pandemic.
