With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Allen Stanley Skinner of Woodford, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Harold Stanley, Sr. and Gracie Fugett Stanley Bowie; her former husband Robert Skinner Jr.; her son Gordon Dunaway Skinner; and her siblings, George Harold Stanley, Jr. (Peter), William Stanley, Sr. (Billy) and Jean Henderson.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Matthew Skinner and Wesley Allen Skinner; her daughter-in-law Sharee Dishman Skinner; her sisters, Ethel Hurlock (Sally), Gloria Golden (Jay), Juanita Rouse (Roger) and Frances Meadows; her sister-in-law Joyce Skinner Martin; her grandchildren, Whitley Allen Quick (Anthony), Melanee Kathryn Johnson (Tyler) and Robert Lewis Skinner; and her husband Junior Skinner. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
