She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Heard (Tom) and Virgie Heard. She is survived by: her husband Leo Patrick Swatloski; her children, Thomas (Tom), David, Teresa and Christopher (Chris); and her brother James Heard (Jim). She is also survived by six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren.
