He is survived by: his wife Valerie Sansbury; his children, Sean Sansbury, Aaron Sansbury and Caitlin Sansbury; his grandchildren, Trey Sansbury, Lacy Phillips, Alexander Sansbury-Phillips and Gabriella Sansbury; and his pets, Sophie and Rico.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance, 1025 Vermont Ave. NW Suite 1066, Washington D.C., 20005.
