She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Tiefenbock and Adele Vogt; her father-in-law Rolland Coalwell; and her brother-in-law Hansi Parragh. She is survived by: her husband Rick L. Coalwell of Dumfries, VA; her son Rick II; her grandson Christopher; her sister Inge Parragh; her mother-in-law Patricia Coalwell of Dilworth, MN; and her brothers-in-law, Mark Coalwell (Jeanne) of Maple Grove, MN and Keith Coalwell (Michelle). She is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.
Her interment at Arlington National Cemetery and a memorial service in Minnesota will occur at a later date in accordance with the current pandemic restrictions.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association in Sophie's name.
