It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger Jones (Woodbridge, Virginia), born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on August 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Vera; his children, Gregory, Rodger "Anthony" Jones (Gemma) and Shamika Boukhair (Younes); his grandchildren, Nygel Jones, Laila, Yasmine, Zahraa and Sherine Boukhair; his brother James "Bubba"; and his aunt Mary Brown of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
