She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Dawson and Lucille Dawson (Thompson); her husband Clyde E. "Jinks" Kirk, Jr.; her son Wallace Kirk; and her daughter-in-law Ladonna Merritt Kirk.
She is survived by: her daughter Janell Kirk; her daughter-in-law Carol Klosterman; and her granddaughters, Sarah Trent (Patrick) of Man, WV, Katie Hager (Tyler) of Williamson, WV. and Kelsey Varney (Gabriel) of Williamson, WV..
