She was predeceased by: her parents, Maude Callender and Brown Mysteries; her son Lionel Callender; and her granddaughter Lettie Callender. She is survived by: her brothers, Calvin Callender and Errol Callender; her daughter Cheryl Maturah; her daughter-in-law Celeste Callender; her grandchildren, Racquel Callender, David Maturah (Taylor Maturah), Andrew Maturah, Samantha Maturah, Damien Maturah, Leslie Callender and Lionel Junior Callender; and her great grandchildren, Kristian Donnelly, Gavyn Callender, Ava Maturah, Kylie Maturah, Parker Maturah, Tamerika Callender Lesane, Bobby Lesane, Chyna Rolle, Tory Callender, Mariyah Callender, Isaac Callender and Isaiah Callender.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. (3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192).
