She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Puryear; her parents, William Robinson and Katie Robinson; her siblings, William, Louis Robinson and Lillian Barnes; her adoptive daughter Theal Turner; and her grandson David Puryear (Bing).
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Steven, David Puryear, Stephonia Hunter of Dumfries, VA, Linda Puryear of Alexandria, VA and Mary Simpson of Fredericksburg, VA; and her siblings, Denise Holt of Landover, MD, Michelle Robinson of Landover, MD and Cecil Robinson of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
