She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Kevin R. Hanson; her children, Calvin and Colleen; her parents, Frederick Hink and Janice Hink; her siblings, Karen, Fred Jr. and Sharon; and her godson Jonathan Paul Hink. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to INOVA Schar Cancer Institute, Annandale, VA.
