He was predeceased by: his parents, Layton L. Sr. Brandon and Ruby L. Brandon (Willis); his siblings, Geraldine "Gerry" Harris (Brandon) of Philadelphia, PA and James D. Brandon; and his son Kristopher Deshawn Morris.

He is survived by: his siblings, Layton Brandon Jr. (Renee Brandon) of Covington, GA, Beatrice Brandon of Woodbridge, VA, Gwendolyn "Gwen" Herr (Albert Herr) of Harrisburg, PA and Lawrence Brandon of Johnstown, PA; his aunts, Vera Willis, Peggy Willis and Barbara Willis; and also Alex Harris. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins.

The family suggests contributions be directed to Beatrice Brandon in memory of Larnell Brandon.
